Jaaved Jaaferi breaks silence as he said that he has not been approached to be a part of Takeshi’s Castle yet. “I haven’t been approached as yet for anything regarding the new Takeshi’s Castle,” he said, according to India Tv.
A recent tweet from actor and comedian Jaaved Jaaferi , has made fans speculating about Jaaved Jaaferi’s return as a Hindi commentator on the show. Since the announcement of the ‘Takeshi’s Castle’ reboot on Amazon Prime Video, fans have been on the edge of their seats.

The ‘Boogie Woogie’ star’s post sparked excitement among his fans, with some stating that they will only watch the show if he returns as the commentator.

The first Hindi-dubbed version in India was aired in 2005.
According to Deadline, Amazon Prime has approved a reboot of the 1980 unscripted adventure variety show presented by Takeshi Kitano, which aired in over 150 countries and spawned dozens of local adaptations.
In 2024, Prime members in over 240 regions will be able to watch the all-new Japanese original. The iconic Japanese game show Takeshi’s Castle first aired about 34 years ago. Takeshi Kitano, a Japanese comedian, presented the event (also known as Beat Takeshi). According to reports, Amazon Prime Video will begin streaming the rebooted version of the show next year.
Takeshi presented the debut episode of Takeshi’s Castle, which aired in 1986. With its one-of-a-kind format, it ushered in a revolution in the entertainment sector. In 1990, the show was cancelled. However, the 75-year-old Takeshi is set to return to his castle and restart the series, much to our astonishment.
Reportedly, under the title of Fukkatsu! Fuun! Takeshi-jo, or “Return of Takeshi’s Castle,” the show is getting back on the OTT paltform.
