Junglee Pictures is a film production and distribution company founded by Vineet Jain of The Times Group in 2014, by far the company has successfully produced ten Hindi language films.

The production house debuted with its first successful release of Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) which was a multi starer film.

Their superhits include Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), Talvar (2015), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Badhaai Ho (2018), Raazi (2018), and Badhaai Do (2022).

Other projects include films like Bangistan (2015), Babli Bouncer (2022), and Doctor G (2022).

In December 2021 Junglee Pictures announced a film titled ‘Ulajh’ and the star cast of the film was undecided to date.

According to a report by PeepingMoon, Janhvi Kapoor is officially signed for the film and the actress will be paired alongside Malayalam superstar Roshan Mathew.

As per the report by PeepingMoon actress Janhvi Kapoor will be seen playing a strong character of a spy, and the project is anticipated to be a big-scale project, the upcoming high-octane spy drama thriller will revolve around three main characters which include Janhvi and Roshan with one senior male lead character upon which the makers have not decided yet.

Actor Roshan Mathew is well known for his roles in the films Chocked (2020) and Darlings (2022) and both his films were released direct-to-digital on Netflix.

Talking about the film Ulajh is said to be a gripping edge-of-seat thriller and the film will have a lot of twists and turns with a visual treat in terms of scenes and scenery.

The film will be directed by Sudhanshu Saria, who was previously honored with the title of National Award for the Best Filmmaker and written by Parveez Shaikh.

The script of the film will revolve around the theme where the female protagonist belongs to a well-known family of patriots and will serve in a foreign country for the first time and she will get involved in a treacherous conspiracy.

The audience can expect something big in Ulajh as the concept of a spy drama is trending and the audience was thrilled by a similar concept of a female spy in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi (2018), Raazi ranks among the highest-grossing female-led Hindi film.

The film will mark a second spy thriller under the banner of Junglee Pictures after their successful blockbuster Raazi (2018).

Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming projects

Janhvi was previously seen in an intense thriller drama Mili (2022) which did not perform well at the box office though the film did not perform well the actress was praised for her performance.

The actress is experimenting with her roles with each upcoming film as she is not ready to repeat any of her characters from her previous flicks.

Janhvi is ready with multiple lineups starting with Mr. and Mrs. Mahi (2023) opposite Rajkumar Rao and the film is set to be based on the life of cricketer and former Indian team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and Bawaal which is a romantic comedy opposite actor Varun Dhawan.
