Indian star bowler Jasprit Bumrah has finally come to action after his long injury break and bagged the Player of the Match award.
Veteran Bowler Jasprit Bumrah was out of cricketing action for long 11 months. He led the side in his comeback match against Ireland and bagged player of the match on his phenomenal bowling performance. He ended his spell with the figures conceding just 24 runs with 2 wickets in his first over.
Jasprit Bumrah ticked all the boxes on his comeback, Indian fans were eagerly waiting to see him in action and shatter the stumps and he did that on just his second ball. He bowled amazingly with the pace, perfect line and length, and high intensity he is known for. Yorker King Jasprit Bumrah bowled all the Yorkers excellently too. It took only one ball for him to find his rhythm, as he took a wicket in his second and fifth ball of the match.
India was searching for answers for its death over bowling woes for the past few months, but the return of Jasprit Bumrah seems to have solved the problem of death bowling for India. He gave just one run in the 19th over of the match as Barry McCarthy was looking clueless against Bumrah.Â

India was playing with five proper left-hander batters: Yashasv, Tilak, Rinku, Shivam, and Washington. Indian openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave an aggressive start to team India until Craig Young sent back both the lefties Yasahsvi Jaiswal and Tilak Verma on back-to-back deliveries.
While Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sanju Samson stayed on the crease but the match was called off due to rain. The play wasn’t possible as the rain had other plans. India won the match according to the DLS method as they were 2 runs above the score.Â

With Jasprit Bumrah back in action and bowling with good pace and accuracy, he will be leading the pace bowling attack of India along with Mohommad Shami and Mohammad Siraj. Prasidh Krishna could be another wise pace bowling option looking at his consistency and pace.
