Jennifer Winget Is Back With Season 2 CODE M

Jennifer Winget and Tarun Virmani team up for Code M season 2, released on 9^th June, 2022 in Voot Select. After two years, Jennifer Winget came back to the small screen with full blast.

After the success of season 1 of Code M, they are back on small screen again. Jennifer Winget and Tarun Virmani are back with season 2. With multiple twist and turns, awesome climax, makes the series a must watch.

The Plot

The series starts with the Kargil Day celebration. Major Monica Mehra(Jennifer Winget) promoted to Millitary Intelligence, is in charge of investigating the assasination attempt of CM Joshi.

When she starts following the clues, Major realises there are many loop holes to be followed.

Will she be able to find the real culprit? What if, an insider is involved with a major motive targeting Indian security?

The series involves around the corruption going on inside each and every department of Indian Army. Due to corruption, many innocent soldiers died in Kargil War, because they didn’t get the enough backup in the war, whenever needed.

While finding out the trails, it is found out that problem is deeply penetrated in all levels. No one is cared about the soldiers, who are living in various borders are suffering like hell.

The case is handed over to CBI office Ismail Qureshi(Swanand Kirkire) as per the army protocol.

Major Mehra, with her own struggle goes on to find out that almost all the corrupt army officers are being murder by some unknown organisation, as if they have taken law in their own hands to get justice.

The story is based on the corruption inside the army camp. The series has Eight episodes, 20- 25 minutes long, by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Akshay Choubey. The location of the series is mostly Pune and Mumbai.

The story also revolves around Major Mehra’s past, which indirectly links to the case she is investigating. The climax is awesome and has multiple twist, worth watching.

As a role of Millitary officer as Major, Jennifer Winget shines with strong comeback. She has presented her role very strongly with elegance. She had confidently shown her stunt skills in various episodes.

Tarun Virmani, as Angad did play a role of good friend, but his strong prescence in the later episodes makes the series leading to climax.

Atul Kumar(Vikram Mehra) as Major Mehra’s father, Swanand Kirkire as Ismail Qureshi and Eklavya Kashyap as Rahil khan, all have given their convincing performance. But unlike season 1, Rajat Kapoor’s strong prescence was lacking behind.

Jeniifer Winget and Tarun Virmani starred Code M season 2 has delivered excellent thriller experience. The series has been released in Voot Select on 9^th June, 2022.
