A trip to enhance Diplomatic relations with the East.
Joe Biden is set to visit Japan and South Korea during his first term as an US president. The visit is also seen as a warning to china to refrain from any acts of aggression like that of Russia in Ukraine.
Experts and analysts across the world see the trip as an attempt by Biden administration to form new alliances in the Eastern Pacific.
President Biden departed from the US on Thursday, and is set to visit newly elected president of South Korea Yoon Seok-Yool in capital Seoul, followed by a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in Tokyo.
Both the leaders of Japan and South Korea are anxious to discuss their nation’s security situation’s, in the light of North Korea’s Missile testing programs and China’s frequent violation of International Maritime laws.

Despite all the flaws, experts say Biden’s visit comes at a time when the leaders of Japan and South Korea are extremely pro-alliance, due to the threat from China and North Korea respectively.

Biden is anticipated to provide better collaboration opportunities to the ally nations on a number of technological initiatives, including proposals for new public-private partnerships to ease supply chain restrictions.

North Korea is rumored to test a new missile launch in Thursday, despite undergoing a COVID-19 outbreak Pyongyang is not willing to let up on its weapons tests.
The last nuclear weapons test by NK was in 2017, since then traditional nuclear warheads haven’t been tested by Pyongyang, but experts say that it’s high time that NK might start again.
President Biden is also set to visit Tokyo, to meet the prime minister’s from the quad nations of India, Australia and Japan.
Prime minister Kishida and Biden will be maintaining a light response to what DC considers a weak response by India towards Russia’s acts of aggressions in Ukraine.
In Tokyo, Biden will also inaugurate a new Indi- Pacific Economic Framework to further progress cross-Border investments as a bid to strengthen Diplomatic alliances, trade relations, Infrastructure, Environmental Initiatives and anti tax and anti corruption measures.
