The long-rumored tablet from the Chinese tech startup, the OnePlus Pad, is purportedly in testing in India. According to reports, the new Android tablet will debut in the country alongside the OnePlus 11R. Internally, the tablet is known as “Aries.”

OnePlus Pad

Previous rumors said the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, would power the OnePlus Pad. According to earlier sources, the OnePlus Pad may have the internal codename “Reeves.” However, OnePlus has not yet provided any information regarding its first tablet.

The OnePlus Pad, code-named Aries, has begun private testing in India, according to a report by MySmartPrice. The gadget is thought to be the company’s first tablet offering since Pete Lau became CEO of the Chinese tech company. It is anticipated to debut alongside the OnePlus 11R in India sometime in June of this year. The name “OnePlus Pad” and the codename “Reeves” have appeared frequently in the past.
The OnePlus Pad has been the subject of rumors for a while now. According to 2022 rumors, it will launch with a CNY 2,999 price tag (roughly Rs 34,500). Although it was supposed to launch last year, it didn’t.
It would launch with a 12.4-inch full-HD OLED screen and run Android 12L. The Snapdragon 865 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage were said to power the tablet. It was suggested that the dual back camera arrangement would have a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an 8-megapixel selfie sensor. The rumored tablet was said to be powered by a 10,090 mAh battery with 45 W rapid charging capabilities.
However, there hasn’t been any official confirmation of the OnePlus Pad’s release.

On 4th Jan, the company’s most recent flagship model, the OnePlus 11 5G was unveiled in China. The new OnePlus phone comes with a 100W SuperVOOC rapid charging system and a 2K resolution 120Hz LTPO 3.0 AMOLED screen as well as 100W SuperVOOC rapid charging.
The OnePlus 11 5G has an AAC-supported bionic vibration motor and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It has three rear cameras, with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor serving as the primary one. A maximum of 512 GB of storage and up to 16 GB of RAM are some of the device’s other characteristics. It shall make its debut in the first week of February, in India.
