Premiere – Moon Knight
Moon Knight has been an awaited miniseries starring Oscar Isaac, May Calamawy, Ethan Hawke and many others.
The first episode was premiered on 30th March. It wasn’t a classic start like any other miniseries it was chaotic and thrilling at the same time.
Audiences reaction through out the three episodes so far has been promising. Despite being the newest Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to Disney+’s timeline, it’s assumed that the series takes place at some point in 2025 given that Hawkeye takes place during Christmas 2024 and this set after that.
(MCU) project both on the release schedule and chronologically as it seems like Marc/Steven (Oscar Isaac) has been a part of the franchise for much longer in none other than one of the XMen movies.
Latest Episode
In the shows latest episode, Layla (May Calamawy who is the wife of Marc Spector) mentions how her father was murdered under mysterious circumstances in Egypt some 10 prior years.
Question arises is should the series adapt the character’s death fully and if that’s the case Spector must have been active as Khonshu’s avatar for at least a decade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Layla is, after all, based largely on the character of Marlene and Marlene’s father was murdered by his mercenary friend in the same attack that left Spector dying at the feet of a Khonshu statue.
In fact the head writer Jeremy Slate isn’t sure about when the series takes place.
He said,
“A lot of people have asked this, but I have no idea, sorry,”
Slater wrote in a Twitter thread earlier this month.
“We didn’t know when our show would debut in relation to their other shows and films, so the timeline was intentionally left vague.”
Upcoming Episodes – Moon Knight
The upcoming episode 4 will be premiered on April 20th. And the following one will be on 27th April. Exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar Premium.
