North Korea on Thursday reported another outbreak of infectious disease on the ongoing of the covid-19 pandemic.
Leader Kim Jong Un has even donated private medicines for those who have been affected by the new infectious disease.

Though it is still unclear about the seriousness of this infectious disease some observers reacted to this by saying that North Korea likely points to burnish the image of Kim as a leader who cares about the livelihood of the public as Kim needs greater support from the public to overcome this pandemic related difficulty.
According to the official Korean Central News Agency, Kim on Wednesday provided his family’s reserve medicines to residents in Haeju city’s southwest who had been identified as having “an acute enteric outbreak.” Separately, the leading newspaper in the North, Rodong Sinmun, published a front-page image of Kim and his wife Ri Sol Ju inspecting the medicines and saline solutions they were donating.
Last month after North Korea reported an increasing number of patients with symptoms of fever that followed the admission of the Coronavirus outbreak.
A spy agency in South Korea stated that there is a significant number of fever cases which includes disease like measles typhoid and pertussis and these fevers are quite common in North Korea.
During a conference last week Kim declared that the infectious disease is in the stage of “serious crisis ”.
