You don’t have much longer to wait if you’ve been waiting for the OnePlus 10 Pro to be released outside of China. In a tweet, the company announced that its latest flagship smartphone will be released globally on March 31st at 10 a.m. ET, just over three months after it was released in China.
Because there aren’t many new specifics regarding the device to be unveiled, the event’s big news will be the phones’ pricing and release dates in areas including the United States, Europe, and India.
In January, OnePlus revealed the 10 Pro’s essential specs before of its introduction in China, and since then, reviewers have even imported the smartphone to get a first look at what it has to offer (raising some durability concerns in the process).
It sports a 6.7-inch 1440p 120Hz OLED display, 5,000 mAh battery, 80W wired fast charging, and 50W wireless charging, and is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 engine.
The phone includes three cameras on the back: a main 48-megapixel camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. A new RAW Plus mode lets you shoot RAW photographs while still getting the benefits of computational photography. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera is available for selfies.
You might be disappointed if you were hoping for a OnePlus 10 to be launched alongside the OnePlus 10 Pro. The company’s CEO, Pete Lau, recently stated that, unlike the OnePlus 7, 8, and 9, it will not be introducing a cheaper non-Pro edition of its flagship product.
