Early on Monday morning, the 95th annual Oscars began at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Jimmy Kimmel, a comedian, is presenting the star-studded ceremony this year, which honours the best cinematic performances of the year. This is his third time doing so. Popular movies including Elvis, TĆ”r, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and The Fabelmans are leading this year’s nominees (all of which are up for Best Picture).
Austin Butler, Colin Farrell, Brendan Fraser, Paul Mescal, and Bill Nighy are nominated for Best Actor, while Cate Blanchett, Ana de Armas, Andrea Riseborough, Michelle Williams, and Michelle Yeoh are competing for Best Actress. Given that “Naatu Naatu,” from the Telugu smash movie RRR, beat out competitors like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Diane Warren to win the prize for Best Original Song, this year’s Oscars are also a little extra special for India. And Deepika Padukone became the third Indian presenter at the prestigious awards, not to mention.
At the carpet
In a departure from convention, the Oscars red carpet took on a champagne hue for the evening, and many celebrities followed suit by making their way to the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles in a variety of lighter hues.
There were a lot of white gowns, including Michelle Williams’ strapless Chanel Couture dress with a translucent overlay adorned with crystals and Emily Blunt’s figure-hugging Valentino creation.
Michelle Yeoh, a fellow Best Actress candidate, gave the style one of the most striking interpretations in a white feathery Dior dress. In other outfits, Giambattista Valli’s enormous princess dress by Sofia Carson dazzled, and Halle Berry’s elegant white Tamara Ralph gown sparkled with bejewelled floral details.
The more daring males of the evening also adopted gentler hues. Some celebrities, like Paul Mescal and Brian Tyree Henry, wore cream tuxedo jackets. Harry Shum Jr., in contrast, defied black-tie convention by donning a white jacket by Adeam, a brand more associated with womenswear and featuring a broad fabric belt around the waist.
Moreover, there were pleasing colour pops. Allison Williams and Hong Chau both wore elegant pink dresses by Prada and Giambattista Valli, and they both looked stunning. Cara Delevingne caught eyes in a stunning crimson off-the-shoulder Elie Saab gown, while Angela Bassett dazzled in a Moschino custom ultraviolet mermaid gown.
Deepika made her debut at The Oscars
On Oscars night, Deepika chose a custom off-the-shoulder Louis Vuitton gown with a deep neckline. With gorgeous Cartier jewellery, the actress enhanced her appearance. Her understatedly dewy skin, winged eyes, and messy hair complemented her look on the red carpet. We admire how the actress from Pathaan made her Oscars debut appear classic. The actress also displayed a tattoo on her neck that was inspired by a certain brand in the images she shared. As according to Shaleena Nathani’s styling, Deepika exuded Hollywood glitz as she got ready for the big night. Everyone was in awe of Deepika’s magnificence.
“Now, that’s how you dress to kill,” a fan yelled in admiration as Padukone entered the scene. Another admirer said that it had an Audrey Hepburn/Princess Diana vibe.. We couldn’t agree more.
All in all, everybody brought something interesting at this yearās Oscars with a hint of individuality. See all the Oscar looks on YouTube.
