As the festive season is almost there knocking on our doors, Amazon announced Karigar Mela in association with Tribes India. 1.2 Lakh products at a click away for customers having access to handicraft, handloom products including crafts like Badri, Dhokra, Ikkat, Madhubani, Blue art pottery and many more.
This effort honours the diversity and creativity of the dedicated tribal and local artisans’ handicrafts as they are brought forward under the digital spotlight.

This partnership impacts benevolently over 12 lakh artisans through the sellers associated with Amazon Karigar. The mega business platform took the responsibility of scaling, launching, marketing their business on the forum.
As a part of this initiative, Karigars benefit 100% from selling on Amazon fee waiver starting from August 30, 2021, to September 12, 2021.
Amazon, in the past 365 days, has launched many initiatives like- A 10-week initiative, Stand for Handmade, to help artisans recuperate from the economic disruption caused by you know who, thus resuming the work of 1000+ artisans of East India, over 10,000 from Chhattisgarh, 5000+ from West Bengal and many more.
