PM Modi gets emotional as a man speaks about his daughter’s dream of becoming a doctor. He offers to help the girl release his dreams.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi got emotional at an online event for the beneficiaries of government schemes in Gujarat. The PM got emotional after hearing about a man’s problem as he later spoke of his daughter’s dreams to become a doctor. The daughter, who was present at the event, also started crying.
PM Modi offered to help the man identified as Yakub Patel, to realize his daughter’s dream. An emotional PM offered to help. He said, “let me know if you need any help to fulfill the dream of your daughters.”
In the clip which is over 4 minutes long, The PM interacts with Patel, who is suffering from a vision loss problem, spoke about his two daughters and the elder daughter’s dreams to be a doctor.
When asked by the PM what inspired her to be a doctor, the girl got emotional and said, “her father’s medical issues prompted her to become a doctor.”
The exchange took place while the PM was attending the, “Utkarsh Samaroh” in Gujarat’s Bharuch video conferencing.
The Program in Bharuch marked 100% saturation of four key government schemes
In the district which will help provides timely financial assistance to the needy.
PM Modi said, “Due to lack of information about government schemes, they either remain on paper or people not entitled to them take the benefit.”
State authorities had caused a special drive. “Utkarsh initiative” from January 1 to March 31, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement. The aim was to ensure the complete coverage of schemes providing assistance to widows, elderly and destitute citizens.
The officials put up Utkarsh camps in all villages and wands of Municipality areas of the district for applicants to provide necessary documents for on-spot approval.
The district administration identified a total of 12,854 beneficiaries across the four schemes.
The program has been organized to mark the celebration of 100 percent saturation of four key schemes of the state government in the district. These will help in providing timely financial assistance to those in need.
Speaking on the occasion through in-depth conferencing, Prime Minister Modi said that today’s Utkarsh Samaroh is a testimony to the fact that when the government sincerely reaches out to the beneficiary with a resolution, that earned fruitful results. He congratulated the Bharuch district administration and Gujarat government for the cent-percent saturation of 4 schemes related to social security.
Mr. Modi said that almost half of the country’s population declined toilets, vaccination, electricity connections, and bank account facility when our government came into power in 2014. But now we have been able to being many schemes closer to 100 percent saturation with the efforts of everyone.
He said that 100 percent coverage of beneficiaries means the success of sabka saath , sabka vikas.No one should be left behind from every welfare scheme for the poor.
Prime Minister Modi also interacted with the women beneficiaries of the various schemes. Mr. Modi asked about the difficulties faced by them and also made several suggestions for their betterment. A group of old age widow women also presented a ”Rakhi” to the Prime Minister on this occasion. Mr. Modi termed this “rakhi” as the blessings of women. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel distributed the benefits of various welfare schemes to the people on this occasion. Senior Minister of Gujarat government and State BJP president C.R. Patel were present on the occasion.
Bharuch district administration has carried out a ‘Utkarsh Initiative’ drive to ensure complete coverage of schemes providing assistance to widows, elderly and destitute citizens. A Total of 12,854 beneficiaries were identified across the four schemes, which include Ganga Swaroopa Aarthik Sahay Yojana , Indra Gandhi Varudh Sahay Yojana, Nirandhar Varudh, Aarthik Sahay Yojana, and Rashtriya Kutumb Sahay Yojana.
Being The drive from January to March this year values wise WhatsApp helpline numbers were announced to collect information about those who were not receiving benefites of the scheme. Utkarsh camps were organized in all incages and wards of municipality areas of the districts to collect the necessary documents for on-the-spot approval. Incentives were also given to Utkarsh assistants to further facilitate the drive.

Speaking in Gujarati, the Prime Minister recalled the commercial and cultural heritage of Bharuch. He noted the industrial development and realization of aspirations of the local youth and the place of Bharuch on the main line of development. He also talked of the potential in the new areas like economy, education, health, and connectivity.
