The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, turned 72 on September 17th, 2022, and was wished from all over the world.
Prime Minister Modi’s early lifeÂ
On September 17th, 1950, one of the most influential leaders of today, i.e., Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was born.Â
He is the first Prime Minister to be born in independent India, only three years after India’s independence, in Vadnagar, a small town in North Gujarat’s Mehsana districT Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Background
He came from a very poor background and was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and Swami Vivekananda, who laid the foundation of his path to spirituality. Practicing spirituality made him clear about what he wanted to do in life.Â
Prime Minister Narendra Modi
At the age of 17, he left home to travel across the world and explore different cultures. When he returned home, he joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Ahmedabad. Â
Despite continuing to hold various responsibilities within the Sangh throughout the 1980s, Narendra Modi emerged as an organizer exemplar with his organizational skills. Â
When Mr. Modi began working as the General Secretary of the BJP in Gujarat in 1987, a new chapter in his life began. Mr. Modi’s first task was to lead the BJP to victory in the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation elections for the first time in history. Â
He also ensured that the BJP finished second to the Congress in the Gujarat Assembly elections in 1990. Mr. Modi’s organizational skills ensured that the BJP’s vote share increased in the 1995 Assembly elections, and the party won 121 seats. Â
BHARTIYA JANTA PARTY
Since 1995, Mr. Modi has served as the BJP’s National Secretary, overseeing the party’s activities in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. He worked as the BJP’s General Secretary Organization to ensure the BJP won the 1998 Lok Sabha elections.Â
Mr. Modi received a phone call from then-Prime Minister Vajpayee in September 2001, which began a new chapter in his life, taking him from the rough and tumble of Organizational Politics to the world of Governance. Â

Qualities to look up to in Prime Minister ModiÂ
Some people love the Prime Minister, while others despise him or his policies, but no one can deny the struggle he went through to become the Prime Minister of India, starting as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and working as a tea seller as a child. Â
His life story could be an inspiration to many. Without a doubt, he is not a perfect leader and has many flaws in his politics, governance, and ideologies, which promote Hindutva (not Hinduism) and nowhere secularism or brotherhood among people.Â
But there are other things for which we should look up to him, which are:Â
- His powerful and persuasive personality: He has a lot of followers, and that has been possible only because he is able to persuade people with his words. Not only do they get convinced, but they are even supportive of the arguments he puts up.
- His confidence: coming from such a mediocre background, it is difficult to feel at ease around people who are affluent. The Prime Minister seems very confident in his own skin and is able to create an impact not just in India but the world.Â
- The Prime Minister identifies himself with the underprivileged population: he comes from a poor and disadvantaged family and speaks in terms of the underprivileged, making it easier for people to relate to him.
- As the majority of the population in our country is unprivileged, he makes them feel as if he’s one of them and they are able to identify with him.Â
-  For instance, ”Hum Toh Fakeer admi hain, Jhola lekar chal padenge.”Â
- His oratory skills: The Prime Minister has something in his voice that make one’s head turn. While speaking, he maintains eye contact with the audience and speaks in a way that makes people want to listen to him.Â
-  He talks in his mother-tongue which is Hindi, with pride and in a very easy way understandable to all. Â
- His perseverance and patience: coming to politics is never easy if your background isn’t from one. It takes a lot of courage and patience to make it as it is one of the most dynamic professions, which can change at any minute.Â
- Â There’s no certainty in this profession, which is highly risky and involves corrupt and criminals on the inside.Â
- He is great at handling criticism: a lot of people hit you with dirt when you’re sitting in a higher position. Good, bad, worst, everything makes its way, but he handles criticism without getting aggressive and acting upon it very subtly. Â
- He never shouts out of anger; only his followers do.Â
Â
It’s high time that our Prime Minister starts using his great skills in the right direction and creates a better nation for us and the generations to come.Â
