Qualcomm and Samsung are rumored to have a potential partnership for Samsung‘s upcoming S24, their premium smartphone series for a specially designed Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chip.
The official release date of the S24 series is rumored to be around in the early part of next year that is 2024. However, the rumors about the S24 are gradually rising in speculation since the information that there could be a possible partnership between Qualcomm and Samsung for the above mentioned.
The Benchmark by Qualcomm
This news has been making waves in the tech industry and recent experts at SamMobile have talked about these benchmarks and one of these benchmarks is Nubia Red Magic 9 and the other, the obvious candidate Samsung S24.
Both of the devices are said to be running on the yet-to-be officially announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chip. The difference between the use of the processor in these two devices is set to be in its specifications.
The specifications arise from how they are going to use the processor to orchestrate the device capacity, speed and processing power. Moreover, this is not the first time Qualcomm and Samsung have come together for a project.
The 2024 Partnership
Earlier this year, both of these tech giants came together to design a special chipset for the Samsung Galaxy, S23 series which is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This collaborative success’ product was available for other companies later on, but the foundation was put over by the partnership of Samsung and Qualcomm which helped Samsung make its mark in the premium smartphone series.
There have also been ongoing rumors about how Samsung may adopt the Exynos processor and leave behind the snapdragon processing system of the S23 series. As of now there has been no significant information about the prowess and technological advancement of this custom processor of Qualcomm and Samsung but it will be no slouch to the previous.
It is believed that Samsung will come out at the end of the year for some information about its upcoming phone Samsung Galaxy S24 and its potential release date or maybe even some specifications. For now this is shaping up to be a powerhouse smartphone.
The Rival of Bionic Chipsets
Many experts believe in the tech industry that the specially designed chipsets have come or been engineered due to the bionic chipset of the Apple iPhones. The bionic chipset are basically the processing systems specifically designed for the iPhones which have made a technological remark in the smartphone industry, boosting its performance by miles.
So after the collaboration with Qualcomm with Samsung in 2024, this re-partnership in 2024 could become a permanent one as well because the A 17 bionic chipsets are already stated to be powerful and amazing in their processing integrations.
Hence, this can be said this is Samsung’s own way to counter Apple’s bionic chipsets. This not only gives exclusivity to the premium smartphone ranges but also adds that special element or emotion to their product which boost their marketing value.
This marketing strategy has been adopted by Apple already with its specially designed camera systems, chipsets, screens, and so on. This promotes a sense of “different” from the rest of the smartphones and also helps Apple to maintain their premium image among the audience.
If Samsung adopts this kind of chipset system in their mid-range smartphones as well, it could be interpreted or predicted that there could indeed be a boost in sales because there is no mid-range Apple smartphone.
