Critic review:
By: Saibal Chatterjee (NDTV Movies)
Rating: 1 star (out of 5)
Let us get this out of the way without mincing words: Aanand L. Rai’s Raksha Bandhan has no business to exist in this day and age. It is a shockingly regressive family drama that would have us believe that girls are worth nothing if they are not married and domesticated.
Conclusion:
If I personally say about this movie, I would say it’s a onetime watch and not absolute worth it.
There is no unique or something new as we can assume movie is pretty much understandable.
The Akshay movie nowadays are not so good to watch rather I say it’s just too much hyped up.
There are many drawbacks to this movie but one of them is it set in an era where girls were just seen as a burden and literally it is not even bit relatable.
As girls are no longer burden for their family or brother to get married.
Lately, if your huge fan of Akshay’s movies you can go for it for sure.
