Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding has become the talk of the town. And finally, after a long wait, the countdown to the wedding has begun. The latest news is that the wedding festivities will take place in Mumbai at Ranbir Kapoor’s house between April 13 and 17.
“Alia’s grandfather, N Razdan wanted to see her getting married to Ranbir. A hush hush wedding has thus been planned on April 17 which will be a close knit family affair. The ceremony will be held at RK Studios and nothing extravagant has been planned yet,” the source informed.
The marriage function will be a small, private family affair. Ranbir and Alia have decided to throw a grand reception party at the end of this month for their industry friends.
According to sources, directors Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Zoya Akhtar, designer Masaba Gupta, Varun Dhawan and his brother Rohit Dhawan, Ayan Mukerji, Arjun Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, Akansha Ranjan, and Anushka Ranjan have all been invited to be part of Ranbir and Alia’s big day.
Ranbir Kapoor is expected to throw a bachelor party at his home. As reported by IndiaToday.in, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Ayan Mukerji will be among the few guests at the party.
Ranbir and Alia have wrapped up shooting for “Brahmastra.” Alia was seen on the big screen in the movie “Gangubai”. Alia received praises for her performance in the movie. The movie did wonders in the theatre.
It should be noted that no official statement has been made either by Ranbir or Alia yet.
