This week’s top OTT web series releases include: From “Guilty Minds” on Amazon Prime Video to Julia Roberts and Sean Penn’s “Gaslit” on Lionsgate Play, we’ve got your weekend binge-watching covered.
The new episodes of the Julia Roberts and Sean Penn-starring series “Gaslit” will be released on a weekly basis on Lionsgate Play starting on April 25, whereas the Shriya Pilgaonkar and Varun Mitra-starring series “Guilty Minds” has been released on Amazon Prime Video on April 22.
Guilty Minds
Guilty Minds, Amazon Prime Video’s first legal drama, premiered on April 22nd and is currently streaming. Shriya Pilgaonkar and Varun Mitra star as the main characters in this legal drama. The series follows the lives of two young and ambitious lawyers, Kashaf Quaze and Deepak Rana, who met as college students and became fast friends. The series consists of ten episodes, all of which will be available for viewing starting today.
Better call Saul S6
Throughout the season, Jimmy goes through the transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts the “criminal” in “criminal lawyer.” Among the many notable actors who appear in it are Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Rhea Seehorn, and Patrick Fabian. Other notable actors include Michael Mando, Tony Dalton, and Giancarlo Esposito. It was released on April 19.
Heartstopper
With the same name, this series is based on Alice Oseman’s internationally bestselling graphic novel, which was released on April 22nd. It depicts the friendship between Charlie, an openly gay over-thinker, and Nick, a gentle rugby player with a soft heart. Joe Locke, Kit Connor, Sebastian Crofty, Chetna Pandya, Fisayo Akinade, Alan Turkington, and Yasmin Finney all have significant roles in the series, as does Sebastian Crofty.
Taxi driver
In the Korean web series, Rainbow Taxi Service, directed by Park Joon Woo, the story of a mysterious taxi service that seeks vengeance on behalf of victims who are unable to obtain justice through the legal system is told.
Kim Do-Ki is a mysterious driver whose mother was murdered, and Kang Ha-Na is a lawyer who works with Kim Do-Ki. Go-Eun is an information technology specialist, but some people believe she is a hacker. Kim Do-Ki and Go-Eun are coworkers at the Rainbow Taxi Company in Seoul, South Korea.
In the series, Lee Je-Hoon, Esom, Pye Ye-Jin, Kim Eui-sung, Cha Ji-Yeon, Lee Yoo-Jun, and Jang Hyuk-Jin all have significant roles. Lee Je-Hoon is the main protagonist. It will be available starting on April 22nd.
