Samara Tijori’s outstanding performance
Deepak Tijori’s daughter Samara Tijori has made her debut in this series.
She has given an outstanding performance.
Her acting skills have given a tough competition to versatile actor Boman Irani.
She picked up an unconventional role and took the entire story around her.
She was able to show all the mental pressure a teenager nowadays is going through socially.
The location of the series is a small village with beautiful farms and surroundings.
The Screenplay by Ginni Diwan has a beautiful poem used 2-3 times in the series and also explains the characters of the people around.
Other characters, Upasana Singh, Manjari Fadnnis, Veer Rajwant Singh, Manu Rishi Chaddha, and Akashdeep Arora, had minor roles in the series.
Boman Irani could have taken a better option for his debut OTT.
While watching him in the series, we remember his acting in Veer Zaara.
He comes strongly in the last episode during the climax.
The show is very dragging and makes us bored throughout the end.
The episodes are uneven and lengthy.
Editor Manan Mehat could have done the editing better to make the episodes more catchy.
The title Masoom also does not makes a justification for the series.
Although the series is a psychological thriller, it is too slow in its performance.
The only good reason to watch the series is Samara Tijori’s character.
Watch the series on Disney plus Hotstar, streaming since 17 June 2022.
