The internet is already filled with images and videos of the two celebrities interacting with thrilled followers. In one video, Jr. NTR met screaming, inconsolable fans in a hotel lobby. In another, hotel staff members pleasantly surprised him with heartwarming letters.
Reactions of Japanese fans
Just after watching RRR, the fans of the film shared quick responses on Twitter.
One user wrote that after watching the film, the feeling is awesome and that he is filled with enthusiasm. “It’s difficult to suppress my enthusiasm when seeing Rajamouli’s film because it’s so present, even if I know that too enthusiastic praises will have the opposite of the desired effect. There are far too many standout moments, such as the 1 vs. 10,000 battle in the beginning, the rope-hanging rescue play, that in the middle, and that at the conclusion. Natu is also wonderful,” he added.
Also another Twitter user recommended the movie to those who consider themselves as depressed, as this movie will make them fill with tears and laugh while walking out of the theatres. It will be a treat for them.
What do the stats say about the collection of the film worldwide?
In pursuance of some reports, the movie made 18 million, or roughly ₹1.06 crore. Saaho, starring Prabhas, previously held the record with a ₹90 lakh day 1 take. It was already estimated that the weekend revenue will surpass ₹ 3.5 crore.
RRR is all about a fictional story based on the lives of two freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, directed by SS Rajamouli. The lead actors were Ram Charan and Jr NTR. The film grossed over ₹1,200 crore worldwide.
Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn both played supporting roles. RRR fans were recently disappointed when SS Rajamouli’s directorial was not chosen as India’s official entry for the Oscars, in 2024. However, the makers launched a ‘for your consideration’ campaign last week, asking for nominations in 14 categories, including Best Picture (DVV Danayya), Best Director (SS Rajamouli), Best Actor (Jr NTR and Ram Charan), Best Supporting Actor (Ajay Devgn), Best Supporting Actress (Alia Bhatt), and more.
