Russia-Ukraine War: Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Belinsky said around 100,000 people had evacuated cities of Ukraine in just two days
Russia and Ukraine lacked to bring fruitfulness in their first high-level parley on Thursday since Moscow’s invasion because, Russian advances distrusted that Kyiv, the capital of Ukrainian could be encircled soon.
Russian Army was targeting four major cities that are Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, and Sumy of Ukraine with armored vehicles heading up to the northeastern end of t capital Kyiv. Due to this, the outskirts of Irpin and Bucha have also suffered from heavy shelling and bombardment.
According to an emergency service of Dnipro, the city seen three airstrikes early on Friday. the city undergoes three airstrikes, one hitting a kindergarten, second an apartment building, and third a two-story shoe factory, starting a fire. One person died.
Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv told “fifty percent of the total population fled, the city has been transformed into a fortress. Every street, building, and checkpoint has been fortified.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said around 100,000 people evacuated the country just in two days, but emphasized accusation on Russian forces of attacking civil regions in Mariupol city.
Zelensky said he decided to send a convoy of trucks into the encircled city with food, water medicine, and other emergency materials. But the intruders launched a tank attack exactly where this humanitarian corridor was supposed to be. He said it in a video statement, describing it as “outright terror”.
Ukraine also accused Russia of carrying out a strategic airstrike on Wednesday on a maternity hospital in Mariupol, which killed three people, including a young girl.
However, Moscow promised to open humanitarian passages every day for Ukrainians to flee onto its soil, but Kyiv has previously rejected evacuation routes leading into Russia.
