Russia under drone attack in the North-Western city of Pskov, which is located surrounding the border near the member states of Estonia and Latvia. Pskov is about an area of 800 Kilometer, of about 500 miles. On 29th August 2024 the area was again under massive ‘Drone Attack.’ Which damaged the Russian airport – Vnukovo and caused giant explosion.
Russia’s regional governor – Mikhail Vedernikov who was present while the attack was in action. He posted a video on social media (Telegram) of this massive explosion, with heavy sounds of blasts, shooting and sirens from the background. Vedernikov stated – ‘They had repelled the drone attack and fortunately, there no causalities. But, we’ve lost 4 heavy transport planes of ILYUSHIN IL-76.’ Though there weren’t any immediate comments from defense ministry but the statement on 4 heavy transport planes are confirmed by Vedernikov. The anti-aircraft system was in action located close to the (European Union Member countries) Latvia and Estonia.
TASS the leading news agency of Russia for more than 113 years, reported as per the situation over the Moscow’s Vnukovo airport, an emergency alert over the airfield is issued. Stated that the authorities had closed air-space above the Russian airport. As we remembered in late May, it was attacked with 2 drones of Ukraine military which left oil pipelines, administrative buildings damaged heavily.

Russia’s 334th Transport Aviation: IL-76 Damaged Heavily
Russia’s 334th transport aviation to operates IL-76 ILYUSHIN transport planes based in Pskov airport Vnukovo, according to another most known and widely independent news site ‘Meduza’ reports about 10-20 drones had attacked over Pskov airspace, while Russian troops on ground trying their 100% to repel the raid on them. In the incident, one drone was continuously hitting on refueling complex which later cause giant explosion.
Flights over this routes where cancelled as the governor Vedernikov stated ‘till the damage is possibly under controlled the flights from here be cancelled’- as clarified lately.

Russia says – 4 Ukrainian Military Troop Boats: On Black Sea.
4 Ukrainian boats on the Black Sea stated by Russia, where military boats carrying 50 Ukrainian troops being destroyed with its forces on the Black Sea.
