On Wednesday, Sonali’s brother Rinku Dhaka filed a murder complaint at Goa’s Anjuna police station, calling her death unusual. His complaint was aimed at Sonali’s assistant Sudhir Sangoan. Sonali’s brother claims that drugs were mixed in her food. Soon, Sonali becomes unconscious and at that time, Sudhir and his friend rape and kill her. Those two persons have already been arrested.

The autopsy report came out on Thursday. In that report, multiple injury marks were found on Sonali’s body. She was reportedly hit with a blunt weapon. On the complaint of Sonali’s brother, the Goa police registered a case of murder.

This new development has given a new twist to the story. Initially, the police concluded that the BJP leader had died of a heart attack as she was brought dead to St Anthony’s Hospital in Anjuna while on her way to the coastal state for a film shoot .Based on the autopsy report of the Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Department of Goa Medical College, the Anjuna police have registered a case against two of Phogat’s associates who were possibly involved in the incident.

The FIR was filed under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.On Wednesday, Sonali’s brother in law Kuldeep Phogat also filed a complaint against his associate Sudhir Sangwan.

It is heard that Sonali’s accomplice has already been arrested by the Goa police, the interrogation is going on. Sonali’s family informed that Sonali’s body has been sent for post-mortem as per the advice of the lawyer and doctor. The entire autopsy was videotaped.

Sonali suddenly suffered a heart attack on Monday night. She was only 41 years old at the time of his death. Sonali participated in Bigg Boss season 14. The BJP leader was in Goa on Monday.
