Kiara Advani was presented with the prestigious Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Award last night.
Expressing her appreciation, Kiara Advani took to social media to share, “Born and Brought up in Maharashtra my heart is filled with immense gratitude to receive the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year from our honorable leaders, Shri Eknath Shinde ji, Shri Devendra Fadnavis Ji and Shri Promod Sawant Ji. Thank you @lokmat and @rishidarda for this prestigious honor”.
Enjoying her dream run with back-to-back success, Advani has made a mark with spectacular performances on the OTT platforms as well as the box offices with films like ‘Shershaah’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’.
These have made her one of the most bankable and popular actresses in the Indian entertainment industry. She also has a long list of successful films and also an interesting line-up for her upcoming releases.
Known for unforgettable characters in films like MS Dhoni, Lust Stories, Kabir Singh, Good News, Guilty, Shershaah, Bhool Bhulaiyya 2, Jugjugg Jeeyo, and others, Kiara has achieved her place among the most versatile actors. The actress is currently shooting for her new films‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ alongside Kartik Aaryan and S Shankar’s RC-15 among others.
With such an exciting line-up of projects, the audience is looking forward to her every move.
For the event held on Tuesday, she wore an ethnic charm in a pristine white number which was equal modish and traditional.
Kiara’s white saree was adorned with styled embroidery in patterns. Sequin and pearl embellishments added glam to her attire. The blouse was completely wrapped in embellishments and showed off the voguish infinity design.
The actress, of course, let the regal ensemble take the centre stage and navigate away from taking the intense route with her accessories.
She sported a pair of statement earrings peppered with green and coral studs.
Her Kohl-rimmed smokey eyes, glossy lips, and defined eyebrows completed her regal look. She has a strong liking for embracing traditional looks.
Other than Kiara Advani, Ranveer Singh too won the award for the Kabir Khan film 83 and walked onto the stage in his typical style. Calling Maharashtra his ‘Karmabhoomi and Janmabhoomi, Mera sab kuchh’, the actor said whatever he is today it’s because of Maharashtra.
