Debina Bonnerjee, who made an impact on television in the role of ‘Sita’ in the popular show Ramayana in 2008, received the award of Social media Influencer at the Sol Lions Gold Award 2021.
Debina Bonnerjee was bestowed the “Social Media Influencer” Award at the 27th Sol Lions Gold Award 2021 by the honourable Governor of Maharashtra -Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
This event took place on Tuesday at Raj Bhavan. Army officials, dignitaries, and notable film industry celebrities attended the star-studded event.Â
On this occasion, Debina thanked everyone for giving her that honour. She thanked the prestigious jury for giving her that award.
Most importantly, she thanked her social media family, who have always been there for her, and dedicated this award to her followers.
She said that followers are her family, and She is blessed to have so many of them across the globe who are always ready to help.

Early Carrier of DebinaÂ
Debina started her carrier from Tamil TV serial Mayavi. But she got fame from the Ramayana show. She played the character of ‘Sita.’
She received many awards and recognization for this role. She also appeared in reality shows like Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati, Nach Baliye 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5.
She also played the role of Mohini infamous tv show Tenali Rama. However, she has had no job to do for few years.
In a recent interview with a news channel, she revealed her bad times during her struggle. She also stated that her husband Gurmeet and her family were there for her.
She said that in this pandemic, she got a chance to ponder and improve her acting skills. She said that she is very thankful and cherished by the support of Gurmeet in every situation in her life.
She never loosed her hope, and finally, in 2019, she appeared in Colors TV’s show Vish: A Poisonous Story.
She has done many movies Indian Babu Dil’s Step Sister, Ammayilu Abbayilu Anju, Nanjundi , Perarasu and Khamoshiya . However, none of them was a success on the big screen. Â
