Sachin Pilot who is the Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan meets Sonia Gandhi, who is the President of Congress, in a discussion about how to make their party stronger ahead of assembly elections of the state. Before meeting pilot, the Congress President had a brief conversation with the current Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot. Pilot and Gehlot were not on good terms with each other, because of which Pilot had to quit his ministry but then somehow The Congress government made a decision and somehow managed to make him stay with the party.
“Rajasthan is a state where every five weeks there is a government change and I think if we do the right thing like we have started to do, we need to move forward in that direction so that the Congress wins the next Rajasthan polls, it is important because soon after there will be general elections,” Pilot said.
Before this month, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi had a meeting with Sachin Pilot, and according to some sources they discussed the upcoming elections regarding the ways to strengthen the party’s image in the state and the upcoming polls in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
The Congress President has been meeting up with numerous stakeholders regarding the electoral changes that will be taking place in Congress leading to the general elections in 2024. Currently, the party is waiting for the proposal from their poll strategist Prashant Kishore.
