A music video has been released for the song “Circus”, from Stray Kids’ second mini Japanese album. And the fans absolutely love it.
On 10th June 12am KST, Stray Kids released a new music video for their latest Japanese comeback. The song is from their second mini-album, Circus. A total of 6 songs appear on the “Circus” album. This album also contains tracks like Fairytale, Venom (Japanese version), Maniac (Japanese version), Silent Cry (Japanese version), and Your Eyes.
The music video shows them sneaking into a circus, where they are surrounded by acrobats and clowns. Throughout the music video, we can see that there are two versions of the boy group. The band sees a different version of themselves performing in the circus.
The first version of the band is dressed in black, while the second version is dressed in black and white. There is also a scene where a version is dressed in blue tones, which is most likely the second version.
A lot of people see the similarities between the movie Madagascar 3 and this song (2:51). The choreography in the music video can be seen as “circus” type moves. There is a scene where Bangchan and Han are spinning Seungmin and I.N (Jeongin). I.N is also portraying Harley Quinn, as his hair colour and upper cheek tattoo match the characters. Plus, Hisoka Morow, is an anime character (star on the cheek).
One of the fans interpreted that in the two versions of the band, one of them is an evil counterpart of the other. Doppelgangers are said to be evil and a sign of bad luck. Stray Kids and their counterparts/doppelgangers are constantly seen in their other music videos as well.
Usually, in other MVs the counterparts do not meet. However, in “Circus” they met, which is considered dangerous by the fan theorists. “They shouldn’t have met,” says a fan. But the parallels in each MVs are really smart by the directors.

While few think they are risking anything by meeting the doppelgangers, some think they are just watching their old selves grow into adults. The circus version is their debut themselves, restricted to doing what they are told them to do. The second version then tells them to set fire to everything and enjoy their life. not be restricted or be bound by anyone. However, there is still some irony in this, as the entertainment industry is seen as a shackle around the artists.
Taking risks in life while still enjoying it may be the message of the song. And that is what circuses are all about. They are risky but still enjoyable. A sense of euphoria is achieved in the circus. The second version tells the first one to burn the place (passes a matchbox, 2:36), take risks, and have a good time.
“Stays” are ecstatic about the music video and have a lot of crazy theories about it.

The group’s visuals, music, and videos were incredible despite their tight schedule. This is the first Japanese EP the group has released inARMYs Surprised after discovering a clip of BTS Jin predicting “Hobipalooza” years ago! almost two years. Over 3 million views have already been logged since the music video was released. Finally, “ring ring ring juggling, we go burn this town” is extremely addictive, and so are the dance moves.
Right now, the band is off on their second world tour in Japan. Their official Twitter account has been uploading sneak peeks from their world tour. Each member looks absolutely gorgeous in the recent images.
