The famous director Guneet Monga and the businessman from Delhi Sunny Kapoor are planning to get married. The two are due to wed in December after being engaged in April, and the wedding dates have already been announced.
The duo will celebrate a grand wedding in Mumbai on December 11 and 12, which will be followed by extended festivities in Delhi on December 16. The celebrations for Guneet Monga have just begun.
Knowing that Guneet Monga and Sunny Kapoor are both Punjabis, visitors and fans may anticipate a lavish Punjabi wedding with lots of pomp and circumstance, which will be followed by other celebrations like the Mehendi and sangeet ceremony.
In a statement regarding the big day, Monga expressed how happy she and Sunny were to have once again arranged their wedding for her beau’s grandmother. After receiving a cancer diagnosis, Sunny’s grandma insisted on seeing her grandson wed in front of her. The couple is not having a lavish wedding after their modestly scaled nuptials.
The Pagglait director added, “Despite staging a complete wedding for Dadi Ji once, we are now ready to marry the marriage in real life. Despite being born and raised in Delhi, Mumbai—my “Karma Bhoomi”—is where I now live. Here, I’ve made pals who are like family. With a reception in Delhi, all the ceremonies will take place in Mumbai. I’ve wanted to get married since I was 18, and I finally found Sunny on a dating app last year!”
“I am so fortunate to have met a family that is so kind and giving,” she continues. I have wanted a large family ever since I lost both of my parents when I was 23 and I can’t wait for that dream to come true. Can’t wait to bring in the new year in style.
