Raina names the restaurant, as ‘Raina Indian Restaurant‘, with its aims to bring the authentic flavours of Desi India to Europe, showcasing the diverse and vibrant culinary tapestry of the country.

He paid tribute to his former teammate by taking to Instagram to express his support for Raina. Kohli, the proprietor of a chain of eateries in India, expressed his admiration for Raina’s accomplishment and declared that he would visit the restaurant when in Amsterdam next.
“Well done bro @sureshraina3 Congratulations and next time we’re in Amsterdam we will definitely come over,” Kohli said.

Biography – Suresh Raina
The first Indian to score 100 runs in all formats of the game is probably Suresh Kumar Raina. Raina was born on November 27, 1986. He is a left-hand batsman and more than a spin bowler who has helped former captain MS Dhoni by providing few quality overs in the middle overs.
He is the second youngest ever Indian captain. He captained Gujarat Lions in the IPL and Chennai Super Kings as a vice-captain. He is India’s first batsman to score centuries in all three forms of international cricket. During his tenure as India captain, they won the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. Raina became the first Indian player to score a hundred in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup when he scored 101 against South Africa in the 2010 Tournament.
On August 15th, 2020, Suresh Raina declared that he will be retiring from international cricket for the last time. During his time as a member of the Indian cricket team, Raina had proven to be one of the best middle-order batsman in the world, capable of scoring runs at a rapid pace, running well, and putting together winning partnerships, mostly in the shorter formats of the match. He could take vital wickets with off-swingers, and his lightning-fast fielding and catching made him an integral part of the playing eleven.
In his autobiography “Believe”, which Raina co-authored with cricket columnist Bharat Sundaresan, the former wicketkeeper-batsman describes Dhoni as the “Chief” and Raina as the “Deputy Chief”. In Chennai, home of the Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Chennai Super Kings, Raina says Dhoni is called the “Thala” and he the “Chinna Thala”.
