Suvendu meets Amit Shah admits deteriorating law and order situation in Bengal

West Bengal CID summoned Suvendu Adhikari over the death of his three bodyguards three years ago. 

The opposition leader, Suvendu Adhikari, meets Amit Shah in the national capital and discusses the deteriorating law and order condition in Bengal. 

Taking to Twitter, Suvendu said that he had informed and discussed the deteriorating condition of law and order in Bengal. The Home Minister promised to give the nod on this situation. He said that he is thankful to Amit shah Ji to give his precious time and nod to the case. 

CBI probing cases of post-poll violence in Bengal 

The Calcutta High Court on Aug 19 of this month had asked CBI to investigate cases of alleged rape and murder in the aftermath of the assembly elections, as reported by the NHRC report. 

The CBI has filled 34 FIRs in the cases of the post-poll violence of Nadia and North 24 Parganas.  

Condition of law and order in Bengal 

West Bengal sees its worst time of law-and-order situation. Since the election in West Bengal, we have witnessed many political murders.

Some persons get arrested, and the charge sheet is filled, but nothing productive has come out of the investigation. Before some days, the honourable governor of West Bengal, Jagdeep Dhankhar, met Home minister Amit Shah and briefed him on law and order. 

The data released by a reputed newspaper showed that of the 47 political killings involving BJP and TMC workers since the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

The ruling party of West Bengal Trinamool Congress alleged the opposition Bharatiya Janta Party of creating hindrance and causing deterioration of law and order situation of Bengal.

BJP lashed back and making TMC accountable for prevailing law and order in the state. Many political pandits and big guns of West Bengal and the nation are highly concerned over the political dilemma in the state.

Many books and newspaper cutouts covered the political blasphemy in West Bengal. When the Communist Party of India used to rule over Bengal, political violence was at its peak.

Still, in the middle years when TMC came into power, Bengal got relief, but a sudden upsurge in the violence refreshed the frightening history of the state. 

CBI is probing a case, but many cases and political murders queue to get justice.
