India’s well-known author, Prabhu Srila Prabhupada wrote a book on the concept of birth and death.
It is very much exciting and captivating to read a book that has so much factual truth. Which is a relatable and very honest opinion of the spiritual master.
This fact is very captivating in that the soul is of atomic size and therefore it cannot be captured by modern machines in their analysis – for example, a CT scan.
We cannot emanate a living entity even after assembling all the materials, because it doesn’t work like this. Spirit soul is very essential if we want to animate the body, says Prabhupada
Krsna is the epitome of pleasure, knowledge, bliss, and eternality. we accept it or not but we all want to merge ourselves with the supreme consciousness. Therefore, we have a natural tendency and habit to hanker after happiness. Because Krsna is the most real euphoria. Therefore, we must edify ourselves because it is rightly said,
indriyarzam hi caratam
yan mano’nuvidhzyate
tad asya harati prajnam
Jiiyur navam ivambhasi
TRANSLATION:
“As a boat on the water is swept away by a strong
wind, even one of the senses on which the mind
focuses can carry away a man’s intelligence.” (Bg.
2.67)
Because the two problems
1} The order we get from our senses is very strong and fosters us in doing things that are joyful in the short run but pain full of regret in long run.
2} The material activities cause a lot of frustration and distress, it digresses us from Krsna and we end up, chained down into the thKrsnaundrum of destructive negative thoughts.
the solution to this interrelated problem is merely meditation, the chanting of the holy mantra the gift of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, whoever facilitates this proMahaprabhues at a transcendental platform. This method is called bhakti-yoga or mantra-yoga. Neither this is easy because the mind is very turbulent, but it has to be fixed on the Lord at the heart this is the only step, merely the first step.
When the mind is fixed within the heart and the life air is transferred to the top of the head, one can attain the perfection of mantra yoga.
This book by Prabhupada also highlights Hindustan not only hanker behind the material earth but also after the material universe.
For sure spending a great deal of time, effort, and money in the form of material means-spaceships, spacesuits, etc.-but this is a very cumbersome and impractical method cause the four principles of birth, old age, disease, and death are present.
Also, hardly a few men may be able to reach other planets. This is also done because the senses perceive it as beautiful and worthy of the attention of the globe. The duration of life may be longer than on this earth, but death is there nonetheless.
Therefore, those who are intelligent do not try to elevate themselves to any planet within the material universe, states Srila Prabhupada
Bhagavad-Gita. (Bg. 2.20)
“For the soul, there is Gitar birth nor death. Nor, once having been, does he ever cease to be. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying, and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain.”
We all are the spirit soul. We are eternal, then why do birth and death bother us? The vicious cycle of material life includes birth, disease, decay, old age, and inevitable death. Here we face trials and tribulations of life and with it, our purpose is to disinter our Krsna consciousness.
If we achieve the saKrsnaen we are elevated on the krsnaloka. The planet of Krsna. Krsna is the epitome of pleasure. Krsna here it is where we get free from the conundrum and suffering of life. On the other hand, if we fail to do so then again, the wheel of the life cycle would take a spin and it will keep spinning unless we transfer ourselves to the spiritual planet.
Modern scientists have been discovering things that satisfy the bodily senses and give instantaneous pleasure. But they are not able to solve the trouble of fourfold misery (disease, decay, old age, and death) or the 3D (disease, decay, and death). They may fabricate a machine that could accelerate the departure but not the one that could cease it.
According to Srila Prabhupada , holding hands and Vecteezy for the right moment would not grapple with the trouble rather taking the initiative would. Therefore, the highly spiritual and erudite people do not focus on the fourfold misery, but rather on how to transfer to the krsnaloka planet. One who is continuously in trance does not divert his attention to anything else. He is always situated in trance. His mind is always filled with the thought of Krsna, without deviation (Ananya-cetafz state). Statham refers to Ananyaere and state. Statham commemorates all the atrocities and fills us with knowledge and pleasure.
