An electronic rendition of ‘Vande Mataram composed by Novlik Nisudan will be released on August 5, ahead of Independence Day. The release will be on all music streaming platforms.
The ‘high-tech’ era is about to witness the upcoming release of ‘Vande Mataram’ in electronic rendition. DJ-producer Novlik Nisudan, Hyderabad-based psytrance has attempted to compose the version with a release expected on August 5. The performance will be available on all musical platforms before Independence Day.
A Musical Savory
At the drop of a hat, Novlik accepted one of the lofty challenges in his musical career. A musical journey with beat blends, rhythm along with fashionable dance contrasts the music created with conventional devices. The final touch of vocal sound is produced by the vocalist Rohan Sebastian.
Embracing the Journey
The work of 5 months and consecutive practice sessions has led to the announcement of the 5-minute, 48-second track.
“What listeners may find unique is the harmony between a relaxed vocal performance by Rohan Sebastian, at a tempo of 80 beats per minute, and music at a tempo of 160 beats per minute, which is quite high.”
The Blending Rendition ”Vande Mataram”
A wide stereo dais, variations in the speaker sounds, and the perfect blending of other instruments paved the path to this rendition. The dream of an 11-year-old boy, Novlik, since he first sang “Vande Mataram” has now arisen to create a version of his own, two decades later.
The Echo of Culture
The team comprises the Ukrainian band Shanti people, a group of four led by the vocalist Uma Devi “These renditions carry forward some gems so that youth also connect with them.” The show with the band will commence on August 7 at Aqua Park in Hyderabad. Since 2019, the Shanti People have been visiting the place, this being their fifth show. The show manifests two new tracks and a pre-performance ritual special ahead of the monsoon.
Near to Perfect
Gathering his skills over years to portray his love for ‘Vande Mataram, Novlik says, “While dance music runs typically in a four-by-four-time signature (the notes in each bar must add up to four quarter notes), his ‘Vande Mataram changes time signatures during the track, blending that with electronic music drawn from dance music.
Library of Music
Novik’s building of a library of music has led him to invent an innovative approach to his musical journey. Accompanied by mood changes, his music invites dance to the floor.
After the performance, Novlik’s upcoming projects include ‘Wimbo’ and ‘Middle Eastern Spice’. The soon-to-be-released list is with Quantum, Gideon Snapir, an Israeli artist performing Punjabi songs with electronic music.
“In essence, it’s all ethnic sounds combined with fast-paced electronic music and a rich ambiance.”
Shanti People
A music band that amalgamates the traditional Vedic mantras with Electronic Dance Music (EDM). They are popular for their experiments with artists like Vini Vici (track ”Karma”), Reality Test (track Passion), Droplex (track Mahishasura Mardini), Blazy, and Gottinari (track Tandava.
The Shanti People travel to places in search of music and get inspired during the journey. They seek the best music practices in India and the sources of Vedic culture. In India music is viewed as a holy sound from the beginning and practiced still as a meditation to search for a higher reality.

The worldwide release of the digital rendition of Vande Mataram will be on August 5. The release is expected to stream on all musical platforms including YouTube.
