The film trailer was released on February 21, 2022. This is the most anticipated release film this year. After The Tashkent Files, Vivek Agnihotri is back with yet another spine-chilling story of the killings of Kashmiri Pandits and their exodus from the valley.
The Film stars Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty; the Film stars brilliant National Award Winners like Pallavi Joshi Prakash Belavadi. The film also stars a couple of acclaimed names like Darshan Kumar, Bhasha Sumbali, Chinmay Mandlekar, Puneet Issar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Atul Srivastava, and Prithviraj Sarnaik. The length of the trailer is 3.5 Minutes long and has a bit of bluish shade.
The Kashmir Files plot and cast
The Film is based on Kashmiri Hindu exploitation which happened during the 1990s. It captures the emotion, the pain, the trauma caused to the millions of victims.

.’ Anupam Kher’s character could be seen trying to worryingly escape, holding slogans like ‘remove Article 370’ and the ‘destruction due to politics’ and the ‘Azadi’ slogans as a ‘song of terrorism.’
The plot is told from Darshan Kumaar’s character, who lands in Kashmir and gets involved in the protests. There are various tense moments in the trailer. Pallavi Joshi’s character can be seen saying that ‘Kashmir was never an integral part of India’ or ‘Azadi as an anthem of freedom.’

Actress Pallavi Joshi added that the audience would experience a broad spectrum of emotions while watching the film, “A movie is as good as its script, and with ‘The Kashmir Files’, audiences can feel and endure the emotions that the characters go through. As actors, everyone on the team completely got under the skin of their characters and committed to telling this shocking and saddening story.”

Speaking at the event, Anupam Kher, who is playing the character of Paras Nath in the film, revealed the portrayal of his character and how he tried to bring the emotion, the agony on screen. He said his character Paras Nath is not the story of One Paras Nath but many.
Actor Darshan Kumar said it was a dream come an actual moment for him to work with veterans like Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty.
The Project was announced on August 5, 2019; Article 370 was revoked. Vivek Agnihotri’s previous work, The Tashkent Files, was a small-budget film well received by the audience. It unveils the mysterious death of India’s second Prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. Made on a budget of 4crores, according to many reports, the film had earned over 20.84 crores and was declared Hit at the box office.
The film, produced by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi, and Vivek Agnihotri under the Zee Studios, IAmBuddha, and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners, is scheduled to release on March 11.
