Joe Biden said in a speech to labour leaders “There’s nothing less happening than major war crimes.” He said it while making mention on the issue of the Ukraine-Russia War that ‘Bucha’, a Ukrainian town has been taken back from Russian forces after a clashing fight between both armies. Even there were places where civilians were shot dead bodies had been found.

The United States took a huge step by putting sanctions on Maria Vorontsova and Katerina Tikhonova Vladimir Putin’s Russian President two adult daughters. Maria is of 36 years and Katerina Tikhonova is of 35years.
The even US targeted recent sanctions on Sergei Lavrov’s wife and daughter Russian Foreign Minister. The officials mentioned that there are several senior members of Russia’s security council also who have been targeted for the same.
The United States officials state that “All the responsible nations should have to come together to hold these perpetrators accountable.” The latest penalties also hit Sberbank Russian bank as per the reports, the aforementioned bank bears around one-third of total Russia’s banking assets. Even the U.S. officials also mentioned the sanction on Alfabank which is Russia’s fourth-largest financial institution.
In further statement officials also said that “And together with our allies and our partners, we’re going to keep raising economic costs and ratchet up the pain for Putin.”
