NBC has announced that Wednesday star Jenna Ortega will make her SNL hosting debut in March.
Jenna Ortega will host Saturday Night Live the next month. According to NBC, Ortega will make her hosting debut on an episode of the sketch comedy series on March 11 and will be joined by musical guest The 1975, who will be making their second appearance for the pop band. Following the announcement, Ortega tweeted the information along with the phrase “See you then.”
In addition, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, who will be hosting for the first time, and musical performer Kelsea Ballerini have been announced to appear before Ortega and The 1975. On March 4, that program will air live. The program was scheduled to return to NBC on February 25 with guest host Woody Harrelson officially becoming a member of the program’s Five-Timers’ Club. That program’s musical guest is Jack White.
Other notable SNL couples that will be highlighted this season include Pedro Pascal and Coldplay, Michael B. Jordan and Lil Baby, Aubrey Plaza and Sam Smith, Austin Butler, and Lizzo, and the Steve Martin and Martin Short team, who will co-host with Brandi Carlile as musical guest.
