In a piece of shocking news, veteran TV actress Veena Kapoor was allegedly murdered by her son over a property dispute.

Veena Kapoor’s shocking death
The 74 years old actress was ruthlessly beaten up with a baseball bat after a quarrel. Her son, who used to live in the US, fought with Veena and in a moment of anger finished her. As per reports her son was caught by police. The news broke after the actor’s colleague and actress Nilu Kohli dropped her tragic death news on her Insta handle. In the post, Nilu also added that Veena’s son dumped her body into a river near Matheran in the Raigad district.
Veena’s son and servant were arrested by Police
As per other news portals report, the son slammed his mother’s head with a baseball bat multiple times and after committing the crime, dumped her body in a river in an isolated jungle. During interrogation, he admitted to having killed her mother by the police. He also admitted that he had a furious conversation with her mom to grab a Rs 12 crore plot and ended up killing her in a hit of the moment. However, according to ANI report, police have arrested the late actress’s son Sachin Kapoor(43) and servant Chhotu alias Lalu Kumar Mandal(25)in link with the murder of the actress.
Security supervisor called Police
As per police reports, it has been informed that the security supervisor of Kalpataru Society, where the former actress resided, complained to Juhu Police that the actress had gone missing on Tuesday(December 6). As per the last report, a case has been filed against the accused under sections 302,201, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code(IPC).
Veena in her friend and actress Nilu’s eyes
Veena’s friend took to Insta Handle, to Pen down a heart-wrenching note. She mentioned Veena and said she deserved better. She also said that she was heartbroken to do a post about Veenaji’s demise. She ended the note by wishing for her Veenaji to finally take eternal rest after a long year of continuous struggle. Also, other actors like Malini Kapoor, Ridhiema Tiwari, and many others expressed grief. The dead actress was a part of the show ‘Bhabhi’, which aired between 2002-08. In the post, Nilu also wrote that the late actor’s US-based son had an instinct of the incident and immediately alerted the authorities of Mumbai, after which the actress’s younger son was arrested and interrogated.
Nilu confronts media
Nillu Kohli, the co-star of the late actress expressed remorse to the media and said that she is still in shock. She revealed that she was an eyewitness of fighting Veena for her case from her first meeting. Veena’s only aim in life was the house and she had worked very much for this. But it was very disheartening what happened to her. She also shared that the kid also went to jail for 20 years.
In her words, “It’s so unfortunate. Every time you think that something is bad, something worse comes up. This has beaten a Crime Patrol episode. I told someone that I can’t believe that I am writing this post for somebody for someone I have known so closely over a period of time. We lost touch during Covid for a while but otherwise, we were in touch throughout.”
