Barcelona beats Sevilla 3–0
Eric Garcia scored his first senior goal, along with Raphinha being the first to score with a simple header. Furious Sevilla supporters expressed their displeasure following Sevilla’s painful defeat, which leaves them with just one point after four games. In the 64th minute, Lewandowski nearly put the game out of reach as he ran onto a feed from Dembele.
The defender praises Robert Lewandowski
In an interview with Race 1, FC Barcelona defender Eric Garcia shared his initial impression of his new teammate, Robert Lewandowski. It would be an understatement to say that the former Cityzen has already fallen victim to the Pole’s charms.
Lewandowski, who had previously done it for Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, becomes the first player to score Champions League hat tricks for three separate teams.
He told Race 1 that Lewandowski has a knack for scoring goals, comparing him to Luis Suárez. He was referring to how Lewandowski used his right foot to
volley the ball into the bottom-left corner after receiving a crisp pass from Kunde. He highlighted saying that any ball he touched, is a ball that goes in.
