BTS will hold a live performance in Busan this autumn to promote Busan’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo. That’s right. OT7 can be returned very soon, and based on what the Busan town’s mayor, Park Heong-Joon, has stated about the show, it will be not like something we have seen from BTS so far. According to a press release, the city of Busan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HYBE Labels for the promotion of the Busan World Expo 2030. As a part of the agreement, BTS will be serving as ambassadors of the Busan World Expo 2030 and will hold the Global Busan Concert.
“Given the significance of its bid as a nation to host the World Expo 2030 in Busan, BTS and HYBE will do our best to successfully convey the World Expo to Busan. This will be a great opportunity to contribute to the further development of K-Culture as well as its local pop cultures in Busan, HYBE Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk stated in a statement.
Park Heong-Joon, the mayor of Busan Metropolitan City, thanked the septet — comprising RM, Jin, Suga, J. Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — for agreeing to be the ambassadors of the World Expo 2030 in Busan.
“The company’s support as ambassadors will be incredibly useful in stepping up our efforts to bring the World Expo to Busan,” he added, Busan, the second biggest city in South Korea, has been pushing for its bid to host the 2030 World Expo, according to South Korean news agency Yonhap.
Earlier, on the appointment rite of the Busan World Expo 2030 ambassador appointment ceremony held on July 19th, BTS stated, “Starting with the global Busan concert to be held in October, we will do our best to attract the Busan World Expo 2030. We will do our best to promote nature and culture to the world.”
With the confirmation of the agenda for the BTS live performance in Busan, interest is being attracted to whether or not the application of the alternative service system of BTS, which has emerged as a hot topic in the National Assembly, will become a reality.
The World Expo is held every 5 years and draws hundreds of thousands of visitors to the host city in the course of its six-month duration.
On 24th August Wednesday Morning Bighit announced the info for ‘Yet to Come in Busan’, a support concert aiming to reinforce the possibilities of Busan, South Korea being appointed as the subsequent town for the ‘2030 World Expo’. the concert will be held on October 15 at 6 pm KST which is 2.30 pm IST.
