Macron had made two tweets wishing for India. The first tweet he made was in English and the second in Hindi.
US President Joe Biden extends best wishes
US President Joe Biden congratulates India on the occasion of 76th Independence Day. He said the Indian-American community has made America a more inclusive and stronger nation and will continue to work together to address global challenges in the years to come.US President Joe Biden said that as people around the world, including Indian Americans, celebrate the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, the United States has joined the people of India to honour its democratic journey. Also said that America is walking with the people of India on the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi of truth and non-violence.
Antony Blinken wishes the people of India
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also greeted the people of India on the 76th Independence Day and described 75 years of diplomatic ties as “meaningful”. Also said that our strategic partnership is vibrant from climate to trade. He said that I am confident that, as two great democracies, our partnership will continue to contribute to the security and prosperity of our people and the global good.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also extended his best wishes.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday greeted the Indian leadership and countrymen on the occasion of the 76th Independence Day. He also mentioned India’s development journey in his tweet. He said that over the decades of independent development, your country has achieved universally recognized success in economic, social, scientific, technological and other fields.India plays an important constructive role in resolving pressing issues on the international agenda. Putin also congratulated President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion. He also emphasised on people-to-people and people-to-people ties between the two countries.

The PRO of the Ministry of Defence said that the Amrit Festival of Independence was celebrated on INS Sumedha in Perth, Australia. Members of the Australian Defense Forces were also present along with Indian forces on this occasion. The tricolour was hoisted in the presence of these people.
15 thousand bicycles donated to Madagascar
India has donated 15,000 cycles to Madagascar on the occasion of Independence Day. The Prime Minister of Madagascar Christian Ntase and Ambassador of India to Madagascar Abhay Kumar took a bicycle ride together to convey a message of growing friendship and solidarity between the two Indian Ocean neighbours.
