On Wednesday Xiaomi India hired 305 freshers from 100 Indian business schools. These employees were selected in the fields of sales, marketing, and supply chain and will begin their trainings shortly.Â

A total of 305 employees were hired out of which 50-55 percent were females. With this hiring, the company’s employee strength is 1,550. These employees will be joining on-site with the company. The majority of them will be working at their headquarters in Bengaluru.Â
The company believes in giving opportunities to freshers and has hired them under the “Mission 300’ scheme. This is a flagship program by the company to train over 300 students in sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and human resource. This is a one-month training program and by the end, the top performers will be hired. The newly selected freshers will go through with the training under this program and then will work full-time with the company.Â
In the initial years when the company was launched in India, they hired interns who later become full-time employees in the company and continue to work with them. The company has always given numerous opportunities to freshers and people interested in a certain field but do not have experience.
