Transmission of Zika Virus:
Local transmission of disease has begun and has been detected in several new states according to scientists from the National Institute of Virology and ICMR in Pune. Aligarh, Kanpur, Delhi, Amritsar, Pune, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Hyderabad, Ranchi and Thiruvananthapuram are some of the states. Out of 1,250 samples, 67 have tested positive for the zika virus after retrospective screening From May to October 2021.
Tips to Stay Safe (Prevention):
It’s important to prevent mosquito bites to stop the spread of the disease. It’s a good idea to avoid areas and countries where there have been diseases. Sexual activities can lead to the spread of a disease. Sex should be avoided in regions that have active cases. “Pregnant women should practice safer sex (including correct and consistent use of condoms) or abstain from sexual activity for at least the entire duration of pregnancy,” WHO shares guidelines for women in regions with active cases.

Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura:
A health problem can be caused by the cells in the immune system attacking the body’s own blood platelets in place of attacking the virus. Due to low platelets count cause serious internal bleeding and cause death.
