KAPIL SHARMA SHARES ZWIGATO TRAILER
Monday was the day when Kapil Sharma took to his various social media platforms to publish the trailer with the following caption: “After the successful world premiere at @TIFF NET, Zwigato is all ready to win hearts at @busanfilmfest.” Check out this sneak peek into the Zwigato universe, and be sure to see the international trailer right here! The preview showed him working as a delivery boy while he attempted to establish a comfortable life for his family.
The beginning of the 1.39-minute-long video showed Kapil arriving at a luxurious apartment with a pile of pizza boxes. He took the stairs after seeing a notice that stated delivery boys were not permitted to use the elevator. He then discovered a single inebriated male. The actor has a daughter and a son, and he is known for being a devoted family man who gets off to a good start in the morning despite the sarcastic remarks made by his son. In addition to this, he finds it difficult to spend quality time with his wife, who is portrayed by Shahana Goswami.
As a result of Shahana taking work to provide for her family, the circumstances gradually become more difficult for all of them. The anguish of being a member of the working class is also shown when a man runs up behind Kapil as he is riding his bicycle and asks if he may make deliveries while riding a bicycle. After reading a booklet that stated, “He is a laborer, and that is why he is helpless,” he gave the following response: “Or maybe it is because he is helpless that he is a laborer.”
The episode concludes with Kapil slamming his phone in exasperation after an order is canceled. During a chat he is having with his wife, he brings up the fact that the management at his workplace wants him to chase after rewards, not complain, and be a good boy.
The following is the Zwigato plot summary that can be found in the official document: “The protagonist of the movie is a former floor manager at a factory who is laid off while the epidemic is going on. After that, he gets a job as a delivery rider for a food company, where he must navigate the complex world of ratings and rewards.
His wife, who has been a homemaker up until now, is beginning to look at other employment prospects to contribute to the family’s income. She does so with a mixture of trepidation and excitement about her newly acquired freedom. The film is about the unrelenting nature of existence, but it also acknowledges the happiness that may be found in everyday experiences.”
The Contemporary World Cinema segment of the film festival was where the movie was screened. The movie will now be making its debut in Asia for the first time during the 27th Busan International Film Festival, which is slated to take place from October 5 to October 14 of this year.
The advertisement starts with Kapil Sharma arriving at the location to deliver the order. Once there, he discovers a sign that states, “Delivery boy not allowed to use a lift,” therefore he is had to walk the stairs instead of the elevator. In the movie, both he and Shahnana Goswami, who plays his wife and also appears in the movie, have a difficult time making ends meet.
