I don’t care who is in front of me, the moment I hear action everything halts for me. My character is different so all my concentration is on that, I look at the person in front of me as my actor, my co-worker I look at him and obey not caring about whether it’s Ritesh Deshmukh or Salam Khan”.
Jiya Shankar on reasons for watching Ved
When Jiya was asked to state the reason for watching Ved she added “Ved is worth watching because of the way it is choreographed and the film feels real and not a drama, people will relate to it as the film also focuses on different relationships”.
Lastly, when Jiya was asked about sharing her memory and her takeaway from the sets of Ved the actress concluded by saying “The entire film is going to stay with me forever, being my first film with such big stars, working with the musical stars duo Ajay-Atul was a dream that has come true, every single day on the set will stay with me forever”.
I can’t count on one single day or one moment, it was every single day for me and I have lived every moment of it, there is one beautiful scene that I have shot for a song which has the line where I ask how much you love me and Ritesh replies it saying “what I do is not love its madness”.
I want to see myself in that particular frame concluded the actress.
