He said that when PM Modi’s convoy was passing through Pune, the people here stood on both sides of the road to welcome him. When Ajit was questioned about showing black flags to PM Modi on behalf of the second faction of NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), Therefore, he stated that Devendra Fadnavis ji and I were in the same car in this convoy. We did not see a single black flag during the entire visit of Modi, rather we saw people welcoming PM Modi.
Ajit said â there is no other popular leader like Modi
Pawar further said we have been watching the work of PM Modi for the last 9 years. At the international level, no other leader has as much popularity as Modi. Look at the work they have done in terms of infrastructure, India gets a different kind of respect in the world. Ajit also said Indira Gandhi used to get similar honors when she used to visit other countries.
People welcome Modi’s convoy
On Tuesday, PM Modi received the Lokmanya Tilak Award. This program was organized in Pune. whereby both the Deputy CM and the CM of Maharashtra take part.
According to Ajit, Pune residents stood on both sides of the roads to greet Modi as his convoy passed. I was traveling in the same car as Devendra ji (Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis) in the convoy. We didn’t observe any black flags as Modi was traveling to the location.

Pawar said that he has taken the decision to join the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance for the development of Maharashtra.
