The much awaited secret invasion trailer dropped today and fans are out of their minds. The teaser follows a dark themed version of marvel which we have seldom witnessed.
Secret invasion is the newly announced series starring Samuel L Jackson as the SHIELD agent Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos who we met in “Captain Marvel”.
In Secret Invasion, we can look forward to meeting the skrulls again who have been infiltrating the Earth for years. The main problem is that they cannot identify who the enemy is because Skrulls have a quality of shape shifting, which makes them incredibly difficult to defeat.
We can see a few familiar faces in the teaser such as Don Cheadle as “Colonel Rhodes” which makes things more interesting- or it might be the Skrull version of him.

If you have already watched the trailer then you can see Emilia Clarke in an unknown role. The “Game of Thrones” star was seen shooting for the series in the start of the year in January 2022. Marvel fans and Game of Thrones fans were going crazy after the paparazzi leaked the shoot pictures in Leeds, UK.
The fans even made a number of edits and fan art after the release of the pictures.
Meanwhile in the teaser, we can also see Olivia Colman who had gained popularity through one of the most popular Netflix shows, The Crown. Both Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman mark their marvel debuts through Secret Invasion.
The trailer was dropped at the D23 Expo 2022. Disney, while sharing the trailer wrote, ”I’m the last person standing between them and what they really want”. The comments in Youtube are showering with praises about the magnificence of the trailer and the excitement about the star cast.
And as the comments say, the trailer is indeed mesmerizing. It begins with the silhouette of Nick Fury and goes on to show Maria Hill (Cobie Smoulders) having an argument on why he’s back. The series is based on Marvel’s comic book series of the same name.
The trailer is trending on Youtube as of now and we cannot stand to reason why not. The trailer had stellar visuals and an even stunning soundtrack. It has already gained 9 million views in the first few hours of its release.
Secret Invasion is trending worldwide along with Emilia Clarke all over the world. Thousands of fans worldwide are brimming with excitement upon seeing Emilia Clarke in the trailer. Some of the fans even tweeted “kudos to our mother of dragons” as she was playing the character in Game of thrones series.
We can see in the secret invasion trailer that Nick fury is fighting a battle between worlds and another battle with himself. He says, ” This is my war- alone”

The audience are sure going to be baffled by the cast’s amazing performance as we all know it’s a star studded one.
The premise of the series is going to be as follows. We don’t know what Nick Fury, the former director of SHIELD has been upto. He has been spending the past few years and in space but we know that he’s got one of his eyes on Earth.
We don’t know why he has come back to Earth after a while. All we know is that he cannot trust anyone since the invasion of the skulls.
And the series will unravel the mystery and conspiracies behind all these happenings.
The Kree has been infiltrating the Earth for years now and have replaced many people, even SHIELD agents and maybe even superheroes with kree imposters for what we know.
In the Secret invasion series we can expect Nick Fury to ask help from various MCU characters and through that we can hopefully see the introduction of a new panel of MCU characters and maybe even new superheroes.
Another question has been boggling the minds of the fans as to whether the infiltration has been done by the Skrulls or the Kree in Secret Invasion.
As we know, in 2019 Captain Marvel, the skulls have been shown in a positive light despite them being antagonists and villains in the comic books.
Looking at the new character shown in the trailer, Olivia Colman’s character might have a shady past or a long standing battle with Nick Fury for all we know.
It is anonymous as to whether she will be playing an MCU character or an original character.
All we know is that she is playing an agent of British Intelligence.
Hopefully, we can expect a smashing performance from all the actors and we can expect even bigger because it is from the Marvel franchise.
