AIMIM leader reacts to Aurangabad’s renaming, calls it a great example of cheap politics.
Amidst the Maharashtra political crisis, on Wednesday, Imtiaz Jaleel, the head of AIMIM, attacked the decision of the Maharashtra cabinet to rename Aurangabad as Sambhajinagar and Osmanabad as Dharashiv, calling it a “wonderful example of cheap politics.”Â
The Lok Sabha member from Aurangabad referred to the political turmoil in Maharashtra and the governor’s order for a floor test, saying that Shiv Sena made the decision when the party started to lose power in the state.Â
While speaking to the reporters on Wednesday evening the AIMIM leader said, it’s time to spit on the Congress and NCP leaders. Although we appreciated the chief minister, he could have left the administration in a more dignified way.
The chief minister had previously stated that the government will first develop Aurangabad before renaming it. Is the development completed?Â
Chandrakant Khaire, a former member of parliament for Aurangabad, was also targeted by Jaleel, who suggested that the Shiv Sena great example of cheap politics “become a professional dancer because there is no work left for him.”
