Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul all set for marriage
Bollywood is now going to witness the 1st wedding of the year. Fans were now waiting for a long time related to any update on the couple after KL Rahul’s romantic Instagram post on Athiya’s birthday, the wait is now over. Athiya Shetty, an actress, and KL Rahul, a well-known cricketer and the current vice-captain of the Indian cricket team, are all set to tie knot on January 23. The three-day long grand wedding ceremony would take place in Khandala at actress’s – father’s farm-house.
It is a perfect venue for a big wedding of Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul. The guests are expected to stay at a five-star property near Suniel Shetty’s 17-year-old Khandala house Jahaan. This is going to be a close wedding that many guests are not invited to the wedding, very close family friends will be there. According to the Hindustan Times report, it is going to be a close-knit affair with only fam-jam and Athiya’s BFF Akanksha Ranjan as attendees.
Wedding functions
The 3 day long wedding will start with ladies’ night on day 1 that is 21st January. Athiya’s BFFs such as actor Akansha Ranjan will join her on this day. Other guests will join the family on the following day that is going to be a Sangeet function on January 22, Athiya’s brother, close friends and parents- Sunil Shetty and Maya Shetty are expected to perform. The wedding on 23rd January will be a close family function not many celebrities are invited and it will happen in the beautiful farmhouse with great sceneries around. For the guests who are invited on the wedding day for them a 5 star hotel is booked near the farmhouse.
While the wedding is going to be for only close-ones of the couple like a private affair but Athiya’s and KL Rahul’s family is going to organize a grand Reception in which every near and dear of the family will be invited. This function is going to be like a Big-Fat wedding that will look like a red carpet reception. It is going to be an exclusive reception.
