BJP leader KC Ramachandra’s son is absconding while a few others have been arrested who beat up restaurant staff.
Bengaluru police have arrested seven people in a restaurant staff assault case and three of them have been arrested based on an FIR filed by the eatery employee.
As per the information, the main accused son of BJP Neta – Dhanush has been absconding, and some others associated with the assault case. The arrested would be put under judicial custody and others involved will be soon detained.
The Opposition leaders cry foul in this matter and allege that the police aren’t taking rightful action against the accused.
BJP leader’s son Dhanush booked
The restaurant staff couldn’t serve Dhanush’s order as their working hours were for the day following which he got angry at them and started abusing and assaulting them. He was booked for creating a commotion in a restaurant, Bengaluru’s Electronic City
As per reports, the incident occurred at around 11:30 pm on 20th November following which a case was registered under sections 143, 149, 323, 324, 341, 354, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against 15 to 20 people which included BJP leader’s son at the Electronic City Police Station.
Political brats exhibit VVIP behaviour
There have been several such instances in the past where various political brats have showcased their VVIP behaviour.
In June earlier this year, Renuka Limbavali daughter of Karnataka BJP MLA Aravind Limbavali was accused of misbehaving with traffic police. She was fined by the traffic police for rash driving in Bengaluru.
In another incident, a Congress leader’s son Rohitap Singh allegedly rammed his SUV onto the vehicle of an Indore-based businessman and later ran away from the crime scene.
In May 2020, Rohitap Singh had allegations of drink and driving, rammed into a car, and hurled abuses.
