South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yoel pardoned Mr.Lee to overcome the Global Crisis

Samsung Electronics vice chairman Jay Y Lee received a presidential pardon today from South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yoel. Mr. Lee after his 18 months of jail given a chance to work as usual like before.
Yoon Suk-Yoel pardoned Mr Lee on Friday because the economy needed a business leader to overcome the ‘National Crisis’ in South Korea. Countries have chosen some leaders who can help the country to get out of the crisis.
Mr Lee was caught by the department in a corruption case lau year and has given a statement that he has to be prisoned for 3 years, that is 36 months but by the presidential pardon, he was released after 18 months which is all of his original sentence. In August 2021, Lee was considered as a 278th richest person in the world ke who have best work $7.9 billions.
As South Korea is in a global crisis the president gave Lee a chance to contribute his efforts to overcome the crisis, and the country needed such people who are well versed in technology and can do hard to get rid from the situation. This pardon allowed him to return to his work totally into the field which he worked earlier, and this has restrictions for 5 years.
“Before this Economic crisis is prolonged, the country has determined the dynamics of those who work progressively and strongly in all the activities. The government gives them a chance to prove themselves and help the country”said the Justice Ministry in a statement.
The ministry added to the statement Mr. Lee and other businessman like Shin Dong-bin who was the chairman of Lotte group of company also pardoned today. So, that they can be free to work, they can get to their jobs and could lead the country to continue its growth through developing the technology and giving full employment opportunities to the people.
Along with Mr Lee, the president also pardoned many other ex-business officials who prisoned for many years. All are on the pardoning list and this list will be announced on the annual liberation day anniversary on Monday.
Samsung boss Mr. Lee and other dynamics have welcomed this pardon and decided to give their best and work hard to help the country to get out of the global crisis. Mr. Lotte thanked the government by saying “we sincerely thank the government for pardoning and first the decision made by the people, Lotte group of company chairman Shin Dong- bin and other staff in the company will definitely contribute our service and hard work to overcome this drastic situation”.
In the past discussion about Mr Lee and other companies some experts have said that earlier Mr Lee faced many problems in launching the chip plant and he also went to Europe, USA and other countries to activate the plan. They also mentioned Samsung didn’t have a high profile due to the company having completed its purchases of audio electronics for &8 billion in 2017.
