The third graduate-level combined preliminary exam of BSSC on first shift of December 24 is cancelled after the paper leak on whatsApp.
Patna: After BPSC, Bihar suffered another setback in BSSC third graduate exam as the paper was circulated on different social media groups about 11 am of the exam, conducted on Friday, 23 December, from 10.15 am to 12.15. It was a case of a paper leak, and on Government’s call, EOU(Economic Offence Unit) was probing the matter. During the investigation, the EOU found that the paper’s viral on social media is true. After looking into this, the Bihar Staff Service Commission has decided to cancel the first shift exam conducted on December 23. The commission has also informed us that the preliminary examination will be conducted again in the next 45 days.
According to the media reports, the police arrested the accused in this case within 24 hours.
Paper leaked on Whatsapp:
The third graduate-level combined preliminary exam of BSSC was conducted on Friday and Saturday at 528 examination centers in 38 districts of the Bihar. During the first shift of the exam on Friday, some pages of the question papers went viral on WhatsApp. After inquiry, the question pages were found to be related to the first stage examination. The EOU had disclosed the accused and the examination center related to it. The EOU said that the exam paper was leaked from the center itself.
Bihar Police briefing after the case:
In this case, the police have arrested the accused, to whom the pages of the paper were sent on WhatsApp. At the same time, the person who had clicked the photo and sent it has also been arrested. According to the police, the rest of the accused are being interrogated. In this regard, police have registered a case under section 420/467/468/469/120B/34 IPC and section 66 and 10 of IT.
Students claimed, 2nd-3rd shift paper also leaked!
In the BSSC paper leak case, many candidates are also alleging that the second and third-shift papers have also been leaked. The candidates have made this allegation by sharing the photo of the paper on social media. The candidates who appeared for the exam have also run the social media campaign with the hashtag named #Cancel_BSSC_CGL3 on Twitter and demanded justice. This vacancy had came after 8 years.
Responding to the allegations, the Education minister of Bihar Prof. Chandrasekhar said that we are looking into the matter and said that if there would be any fall play in the examination, will take strict action against it and Guilty will not be spared.
Will Protest in Bihar: Students
All the candidates associated with the BSSC exam in Patna held a meeting under the leadership of student leader Dilip. It was said in the meeting that the government must have to conduct a CBI inquiry into this examination and take action against the culprits. According to the report of some media group, the candidates threatened the government regarding this and hope to take action against it, Otherwise on January 4, 2023, the candidates will agitate against the government in the whole of Bihar.

After this incident, students are saying that our future is being played with. The education system of Bihar is under the control of the mafia. The students said that we have prepared hard but result of which the paper was leaked. Students say that due to this paper leak, they have to suffer financial, emotional and time loss. Students demand the government to make the competitive exams full proof.
