In the middle of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, it’s become nearly impossible to ignore a dire prophecy delivered decades ago by a visually handicapped but famous psychic. According to a 2018 Birmingham Mail story, when Bulgarian national Baba Vanga informed writer Valentin Sidorov that Russia would become the “lord of the world” while Europe would become a “wasteland,” the World took it seriously since she was no joke.
She claimed an 85% success rate in her forecasts, which included the formation of ISIS, the 9/11 attacks, and, more recently, Putin’s ascension to power.Â
According to the article, Baba Vanga remarked in 1979, “All will thaw, like ice, only one stays undamaged – Vladimir’s majesty, the glory of Russia.” Baba passed away in 1996 at the age of 85. She is supposed to have stated, “No one can stop Russia.” Putin has dominated Russian politics and played a crucial role in international affairs since assuming the role of acting President of Russia in December 1999.Â
Baba Vanga, who was born in Vangelia Pandeva in Strumica, not only correctly foretold the 9/11 attacks, but he also prophesied Brexit a few decades ago. She projected that Europe would cease to exist in its current form by 2016. Britain chose to leave the European Union on June 23, 2016, precisely as predicted.Â
Despite being blinded as a child due to a tornado, Vanga has made hundreds of forecasts throughout her 50-year career. In August 1999, she foretold that the Russian nuclear submarine Kursk would be swamped, causing the entire World to weep. In August 2000, the submarine drowned in the Barents Sea, killing the crew. Vanga also appeared to predict that Donald Trump would be elected President of the United States and that as the “45th President of the United States,” he would face a catastrophe that would bring “the country down.” Â
However, her forecast that Barack Obama will be the final President of the United States remains a mystery. On the “100th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima’s visitation,” she also forecasted World War III and projected China to become a world power by 2018.Â
